The Plagal

Plagal Music is an independent ensemble founded in 2012 by a couple

of young Hong Kong musicians.

Members include Annie Chan(vocalist), Benjamin Wong(Upright Bass), Candy Chan(oboe), Edward Lun(Trumpet & Arranger/composer), Lin Ho Fun(violin), Timothy Cheung (keyboard) and Lo Yim Kwan (Project Coordinator). The Plagal Music perform a variety of new arranged music from different time periods and genres arranged by our member Edward Lun. The members reinterpret the music by using classical and modern instruments, which provide an uplifting, fun and unique performances for the audiences.

Plagal Music has been involved in various performances since 2012. In May 2012, they have hold a concert, the “Pop Accapella”, at the Bespoke Café. They have received glowing reviews. The band was then invited to hold another concert at the Bespoke Café, the “Jazz Night” after their amazingperformances and reviews. Plagal Music is also an active performing party in different large shopping malls, hotels and bars such as the BackStage, The One Mall, Panda Hotel, K11 Mall and so on.
